Hello, I'm Sheri!
I’m a UX Designer who has led creative teams for 14 years in highly collaborative, agile work environments. I began designing immersive experiences in the theater realm and now bring that rich background into UX. My expertise spans the entire UX process - research, ideation, prototyping, testing, iteration and crafting compelling presentations with a narrative arc.
The driving force behind my work is tapping into the human condition. I'm passionate about getting to the root cause of user pain points, wants, needs and desires, and from this process of discovery, creating technology that is both useful and beautiful.
I have a Master of Fine Arts in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, where I studied leadership theory and business for two years. Through this program I worked with many of Seattle's arts and technology innovators, honing the fine art of leading diverse teams (creative, marketing, accounting, legal) toward a shared vision.
I also studied for a year in Paris with Master Artist, Marcel Marceau. Marceau taught me a deep understanding of humanity and the ability to craft stories with profound impact. I'm also a trained sommelier and have interviewed wine makers from around the world.
In my spare time I love to listen to people tell their life stories. You can usually find me at a coffee shop with a good friend, out dancing, wine tasting or getting creative inspiration at a local art event.
